Early spring - Balanced fertilizer and crabgrass preventer, with broadleaf weed control as needed. This will jump start the lawn and give it the nutrients it needs during this period of heavy growth.
Late spring - Balanced fertilizer with broadleaf weed control. Also, a booster application of crabgrass preventer will be applied, if weather conditions dictate. This is still a period of heavy growth, and the fertilizer will provide the food your lawn needs going into the warmer season ahead. This is also a great time to get rid of those pesky dandelions and many other weeds.
Summer - This is a slow release granular fertilizer meant to feed the lawn slowly through the stressful summer months. We also spot treat for weeds that will begin showing up along driveways and sidewalks.
Early fall - Balanced fertilizer with broadleaf weed control, as needed. This provides the necessary nutrients for the beginning of the fall growing season, and finishes off any broadleaf weeds that may have crept in.
Late fall - This is an application of granular fertilizer higher in nitrogen. As the turf begins to store food for winter, the nitrogen fertilizer will be taken into the root system where it will be used slowly through the cold months, providing early spring green up.
